In Italy, it is known as l’Aja, and it’s the administrative capital of the Netherlands; worldwide, it is known as The Hague. This is where Berto's high technology for catering has arrived, finding its place in one of the most exclusive historic hotels: the Hilton The Hague, which took advantage of the forced closure period due to the pandemic to brilliantly renovate its own Blue Blood restaurant.
As the name suggests, nobility and prestige are the hallmark of this restaurant. Our trusted partner HorecaPro, managed by Michel Pont, was in constant collaboration with Berto's Area Manager Luca Bertogno and proposed the hotel owners with the most technically advanced solutions of our range, including a large central island of the S900 line with Bflex induction hobs, the same “smart” controls integrated in the fryer, salamander and electric grill chosen to maximize the potential at the service of chefs, optimizing cooking times and consumption.
The superior quality and technical innovation were the keys to obtaining the approval of the Hilton chain’s supervisors who only rarely allow individual hotels to select suppliers other than those already bound by their standard global contracts. We are, therefore, particularly proud that Berto's Made in Italy technologies let us achieve this brilliant result. Indeed, the kitchen reflects the contemporary and sophisticated taste of the hotel and the restaurant that hosts a particularly demanding and exclusive international clientele who love to take advantage of the best things in all circumstances.
The Blue Blood is thus a candidate to become one of the most desired meeting places in the Dutch capital, both as a cocktail bar for business and leisure aperitifs and as a restaurant to host refined dinners in a setting of great charm where one can savor a cuisine that aims to enhance selected and precious local ingredients with original recipes.
